Jenny's Thank You Celebration - Sunday 26th July

Jenny Fox recently resigned from 16 years of ministry as Associate Pastor at GBC. To thank Jenny and celebrate her ministry, a special celebration will be held on Sunday 26th July, beginning with the 9.30am service, followed by a luncheon in the hall.

An archival quality book has been purchased for those who would like to do a scrapbook page, to tell Jenny what her ministry has meant to them. Each page measures about 15cm x 20cm. Pens, paper, glue, etc will be available on the day for people to record their messages to Jenny. Please think about what you would like to say, and bring along any photos, poems, Bible verses, etc you might wish to include.

Photos will be taken during the day to be presented to Jenny in the form of a photo book.

A suggestion has been made that people wear something purple on the day, eg. clothing, hair, ribbons, etc.

We are catering for approximately 150 people (adults and children) and are having a selection of soups, sandwiches, cakes and slices. If you are able to help with the catering and provide any of the abovementioned food, please contact Jenny Wallace (soups) or Kirsti Brady (sandwiches, cakes, slices). 

Thank you to those who have already donated money towards the cost of the luncheon and gift for Jenny. We are still appreciative of any donations and these can be placed in the purple donation boxes at the church.
